The Lebanon Community Theatre is proud to present its annual junior production for summer 2018! Disney’s The Lion King Jr. is directed by Robin Stutzman, choreographed by Bethany Stutzman, and produced by Bobbie Rios. The cast of 46 actors range in age from 8 to 18, but audiences of all ages are invited to see these young performers shine on stage at the barn.

The vibrant cast is full of young talent, including: Tate Lovell and Ava Fackler as Young Simba and Young Nala, Ethan Tucker and Karly Zimmerman as Simba and Nala, Joshua Heck as king Mufasa, Carter Rutkowski as the show’s menacing villain Scar, Meghan Farling as the mysterious mandrill Rafiki, while Tyler O’Connor and Riley Danielewicz add comic relief as Timon and Pumbaa, respectively.

“It’s been an absolute joy to work with this wonderful young cast and talented production team as we bring this powerful story to life,” said Robin Stutzman. “The stage bursts with colorful costumes and an array of lively characters: birds, flowers, butterflies, animals, and spirited dancers. This is a show full of energy, but it is also a show with immense heart, emotion, and depth. The production is big, with close to fifty talented local actors, and each of them brings their unique voices and passions to their roles to epitomize the message of the show: that every life matters, and we are all important in the circle of life.”

Stutzman and her cast and crew are also pleased to announce that there will also be a sensory sensitive show on August 18 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets for Disney’s Lion King Jr. are on sale now! Please click here to purchase.
