INTIMACY STATEMENT: The Prom touches on a lot of very poignant issues in society, many revolving around LGBTA+ relationships.  Along with the fact that it is a dance heavy show with lots of character interaction, this calls for lots of physical movement and some partner dancing between both opposite sex and same sex couples. As such, some level of comfortability with physical intimacy/touch is important for many roles. Several characters engage in specific scripted moments of physical intimacy and kissing. You will be asked to fill out a few intimacy comfort level questions on the audition form to ensure you are only being asked to do what is comfortable for you.

The Prom is presented through special arrangement with and all authorized performance materials are supplied by Theatrical Rights Worldwide 1180 Avenue of the Americas, Suite 640, New York, NY 10036. www.theatricalrights.com
